About the job
- Responsible for animating background characters on animated feature films.
- Propose new acting and innovative ideas to enrich the animation of the shots.
- Work closely with Crowd Animation Lead to create skilled animation with strong acting performances and convincing motion.
- Finish high quality work for Animation Directors and Director approval in a timely manner.
Must have
- Thorough knowledge of Maya.
- Creativity!
- Strong knowledge of posing, weight, timing, animal and human motion.
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a Character Animator.
- Good technical understanding of models and rigs.
- In your demoreel, we would like to see, if possible, walking or running cycles of bipedes or quadupedes, acting scenes with lipsync and action scenes.
About you
- French and/or English fluency is required.
- Good communication skills and ability to take notes and directions.
- Ability to work within a team, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
